STEAM and Science Activities

Dynamic things are happening in our classrooms, and in addition to the hands on experiences our students are having in the classroom on a regular bases, we also support our students with additional videos.
Sometimes, our students go home excited to share what they learned in the classroom, or wanting to try what they saw in a video at home. Here, I would like to upload and add some of the materials we watch or do in order for parents to see, and experience the same concepts at home.
As always, any and all feedback is welcomed. In addition, if there is an experiment you would like to share with us, please feel free to do so.
Thank you,
Miss. Q
We are also incorporating the Engineering Model into our Science class. You can practice at home using the following format, feel free to share your projects.

This coming week, we will be introducing students to the Engineering Model, to put into practice the Engineering Model, students will be building bridges. Students will use materials that have been donated by parents, will then be assigned a type of bridge to create. Students will work on their communication skills as they work in small groups to collaborate and come up with a bridge that can sustain a model car. If possible we may use a robot controlled by an Ipad to pass over the bridge. We look forward to seeing how our students come up with creative ways to build bridges while applying the Engineering Model in our Science class.
